Obamacare and Medicare are two entirely different government sponsored health programs. Obamacare, a term used to describe the Affordable Care Act, is a subsidized health insurance program for individuals who are under the age of 65.
Medicare, is (typically) a program that is used by individuals who are at minimum 65 years in age or older. Please note that in some circumstances individuals who are under the age of 65 may still qualify for medicare if they are disabled or have special circumstances.
