GlobalHealth is an Oklahoma-based insurer offering Medicare Advantage plans to people in 27 counties in Oklahoma. In business since 2003, GlobalHealth first offered Medicare Advantage plans in 2013. The insurer also offers group health insurance plans and coverage for educators and government employees. Through its various health plans, GlobalHealth insures about 44,000 people. Participation in GlobalHealth’s Medicare Advantage plans increased by 30 percent from 2017 to 2018.
Medicare Advantage plans from GlobalHealth are mainly based on an HMO. There are seven categories:
